As CEO, Michael’s leads PPR’s team of consultants across six offices in Australia and New Zealand to deliver effective strategies and campaigns that connect brands and businesses with the communities they need to reach.
An experienced strategic communications consultant, Michael builds corporate and consumer brands, delivers crisis and issues management and works with business leaders to develop thought leadership positions.
Michael has devised integrated communication campaigns across multiple sectors including airlines, forestry and personal finance, and offers clients evidence based strategic advice combining creative execution to deliver effective communication campaigns.
Michael has spent 20 years in the UK and Australia advising global brands including McDonald’s, Dell, Woolworths, Emirates, and Subway.
Director of Planning and Insights AUNZ
Allan has spent the past 25 years understanding what people do, why they do it and using these learnings to develop effective strategies for his clients. He has done this for brands in over 20 countries and he has worked in the US, UK and Australia.
He recently moved back from NYC to lead the integrated planning and insights function for PPR. He has also held senior planning roles in communication, media, and creative agencies. He has built a speciality in helping FMCG and wellness brand develop and communicate their purpose.
He was instrumental in developing the insights and communication strategies for the most awarded campaign in 2016 - #likeagirl. He is also the recipient of the Holmes report Top 25 innovators in Public Relations for his work in planning and insights.
Allan holds a Bachelor of Information management from Melbourne University and post graduate studies in change management. He is a member of the Institute of Public Relations - Measurement Commission.

Lee has 30 years’ experience in communications strategy and has been with PPR for nearly 10 years. She takes a very hands-on role with clients with direct responsibility for communications strategy development, workshop facilitation, issues and crisis management, media training and campaign management. Lee is a PPR media trainer conducting multiple media training programs and is also a strong facilitator conducting regular strategy workshops for clients.

Louise has worked in PR and communications for over 20 years, both in NZ, Australia and the UK. She’s a consumer PR specialist with her roots founded in sound strategy and strong critical thinking with a particular emphasis on consumer brands.
Louise is an ideas power-house making her invaluable in leading the team to come up with truly original ideas and thinking for her clients. She’s a great believer in being disruptive within category and doing it in a way that gets consumers engaging positively with a product.
Louise is incredibly connected within the fashion, beauty and lifestyle sector in NZ – her experience managing PR for brands like Dove, Tresemme, Toni & Guy, Simple, SunSilk, adidas, Jockey, The Warehouse, Audi, Dermalogica and Volkswagen has ensured the stays front and centre when it comes to knowing the media and making things happen.

Fiona McRobert is a PR veteran who has spent over 20 years working in New York and Los Angeles for some of the biggest brands in the world. She has led global integrated communications campaigns for brands across a range of industries, including media, hospitality, consumer goods, fashion, and entertainment.
Most recently, Fiona held a senior leadership position overseeing a portfolio of clients including PepsiCo, Piper-Heidsieck, Hugo Boss and JUST Water. Fiona has been the head of global communications for media agency Universal McCann, leading external and internal communications, as well as the digital communications strategy, and the agency’s events and awards program. Fiona worked closely with agency clients including BMW, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Coca-Cola, Johnson & Johnson, and Hershey’s, as well as with media partners including Facebook, iHeartMedia, Yahoo! and Time Inc.
Fiona has also held senior level positions with top PR agencies Cohn & Wolfe and MSLGROUP, leading teams focused on business and global consumer communications. Clients included Hilton Hotels, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, Vivendi and the Digital Entertainment Group.
Earlier in her career, Fiona directed PR for a number of leading brands, including Levi Strauss, Hard Rock Cafe, Weider Publications, and Disney’s ABC Television Group. Fiona started her career at Edelman New York in the Corporate Affairs division, working on Time Warner and United Parcel Service.
Fiona is a Perth native and graduated with a BA from the University of Western Australia.

Effie Young has thirty years’ hands on experience in the consumer, retail, fashion and luxury sectors. With a background in fashion wholesale and retail, advertising, PR, film and event production she has skills perfectly suited to managing an integrated marketing business. As such Effie established Style Counsel to provide a holistic service across a diverse range of lifestyle businesses.
Having worked with some of the most recognisable international and local brands including Witchery, French Connection, Target, Weylandts, Bang & Olufsen, Doc Martens, Desert Boots, Red Earth, Chadstone, The Fashion Capital and a host of others, her experience is vast and well acknowledged. Effie has been responsible for creating notable campaigns including Witchery’s White Shirt Campaign, Target’s Designers for Target initiative, Jamie’s Ministry of Food Australia, Dita Von Teese Lingerie (global) and the Ian Thorpe for Omega Watches campaign.
After 25 successful years, Style Counsel became part of the PPR family and in 2017 Effie took on the role of Market Leader of PPR Melbourne in addition to her leadership role at Style Counsel.
